Weekend Caregivers ONLY

Senior Helpers Northern Orange County is looking for an experienced WEEKEND caregivers ONLY Long Beach Cypress Huntington Beach Seal Beach

Shifts: 212 hour shifts

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Experience with transferring clients between various locations (wheelchair bed etc. utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Experience with using a gate beltassistance.
• Experience with assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks including sponge baths bathing toileting grooming etc.
• Experience with assisting clients with incontinence care and bedridden care.
• Willing to attend training regarding Dementia and Alzheimers.
• 1 year experience preferred but not required.
• reliable transportation
• Drivers license & auto insurance

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to buildrelationships.
• Participate in your clients favorite hobbies (walking gardening games etc.
• Prep meals for your clients toenjoy.
• Assist your clients with walking dressing and other daily activities ofliving.
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients physical condition mental capacity andbehavior.
