Job Description
Our preschool is now seeking a wonderfully passionate and motivated Assistant Teacher who enjoys and has experience with infants and toddlers or 23 year olds. If you are talented creative and love to have fun while teaching we encourage you to apply. Our school uses the Creative Curriculum as a base for our learning and planning. We believe that children should have as many hands on fun experiences as they can to enrich their love of learning.

This position starts at $15/hour. In addition you will receive a SIGNON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.
- Must have a High School diploma or GED; and at least one 1 year of experience working in a child care facility.
- Must have the 4045 hours DCF Childcare Licensing training (Part 1 Part 2 and Early Literacy for Children Age Birth Through Three) and must have passed the exams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Two 2 or more years of experience working with infants through prekindergarten in a child care facility.
- Advanced training in CPR First Aid Child Abuse and/or Child Development.
