Job Description
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a new and exciting opportunity VanAm Defense Systems in Waverly IA is seeking a FullTime Maintenance Technician to join our onsite team. In this role you will play a key part in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly by maintaining and repairing machinery. If you have strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills and enjoy working in a dynamic environment we want to hear from you.

This position follows a fourday 10hour shift schedule allowing for extended weekends and a strong worklife balance.
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production machinery and equipment. Your daily tasks will include diagnosing and repairing mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic issues assisting with equipment installations and upgrades and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will collaborate with team members to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance machinery repair or a related field. Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills are essential along with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics and electrical systems is a plus. Success in this role requires teamwork effective communication and the ability to adapt in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
