Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Java Developer for our client in the financial industry for a fixed term employment contract based in Johannesburg.
Requirements and Experience:
Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Java Engineer in enterpriselevel applications (at least 4 years)
Expertise in Java EE Spring Boot and microservices development (at least 5 years)
Strong background in infrastructure management with proficiency in Chef.
Experience with cloud technologies preferably AWS and AWS certification is a plus.
Proficiency in unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Solid understanding of security scalability and performance in a financial sector context.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Has to be based in Johannesburg
