Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a dynamic and detailoriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions ensuring that our projects align with strategic objectives and deliver significant value. As a Business Analyst at Synechron you will facilitate the requirements gathering process collaborate with stakeholders and development teams and drive projects to successful completion ultimately contributing to our overall business objectives.
Software Requirements
Required:
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies such as Agile Waterfall and BPMN
- Familiarity with project management tools including JIRA Asana and Trello
- Experience with data analysis tools particularly SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing processes
Preferred:
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Exposure to additional project management software
Overall Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis processes to understand business needs and objectives
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
- Ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with development teams
- Develop and maintain essential project documentation including requirements specifications process flows and test plans
- Communicate project status progress and risks effectively to stakeholders
- Deliver projects on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
Technical Skills (By Category)
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Essential: Agile Waterfall BPMN
- Preferred: Scrum certification
Databases/Data Management:
- Essential: SQL
- Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools
Project Management Tools:
- Essential: JIRA Asana Trello
Experience Requirements
Essential:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering highquality business analysis projects
Preferred:
- Experience in the financial services or technology industry
DaytoDay Activities
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions to capture business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and develop project plans and schedules
- Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Maintain and update project documentation including process flows and test plans
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on project status progress and risks
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science or a related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered
Certifications:
- Professional certification in Business Analysis is a plus
