This role leads supply chain & topology for EU Merch on Demand (Merch). Merch is among the fastest growing and most dynamic businesses within EU Retail. Worldwide we are among the worlds largest printondemand service for content creators.
As the leader of EU Merchs Supply Chain you will have a very high impact role shaping the future of the business in EU in a very consequential and high impact way. We are looking for a passionate leader excellent at working with and influencing crossfunctional teams who possesses a unique blend of being able to create long term strategic plans as well as the skills and temperament to materialize those plans in the day to day operations. Prior experience with capacity management network modeling transportation financial tradeoffs on investments and collaborating with global stakeholders on largescale projects with are all valuable.
In this role you will scale our fulfilment model to optimize for speed ship cost and customer experience while leading multimillion dollar investment decisions. You will be the face of business collaborating with stakeholders across teams including site operations transportation operations finance tech product accounting all while making critical decisions that have a direct impact on our P&L. The right candidate is analytical detailoriented builds strong relationships and enjoys solving complex ambiguous problems and most of all is able to communicate effectively and persuasively across orgs and with senior leadership.
Key job responsibilities
Owns ship cost delivery speed for Merch Europe
Builds the EU Merch topology and capacity plan for OP cycles for a 3year horizon
Lead business case for new site launches gather alignment/approvals and own
Supports the creation of the network distribution and transportation strategy
Assists in driving crossfunctional strategic initiatives to continuously improve cost structure and customer experience of the supply chain
Performs complex analysis to identify business opportunities to drive growth/revenue and improve profitability
Supports global standardization of network configuration businesses processes and reporting with product finance operations and supply chain stakeholders
Drives crossfunctional projects to support new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization.
Establishes strong relationships with strategic partners across the Amazon Fulfilment Network
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience in complex problem solving and working in a tight schedule environment
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience leading process improvements
Experience building processes project management and schedules
