Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Works with the Security Operations Center team to deliver program expectations and complete training activities.
Engage in daily security briefings and team meetings.
Work with SOC senior analysts to make meaningful contributions to a key project.
Develops data reports summarizing quarterly results against goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to understand information security foundational information and principles.
Communication investigation analysis and problemsolving skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to manage various tasks and projects to completion. (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Security tooling familiarity preferred (SIEM RTR Email Management etc.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with peers and staff.

Candidate Qualifications:
Have at least one academic year left at community college.
Available to work 20 hours minimum per week (work will be a hybrid style with the majority of time in the office located at 151 N Franklin.
Earn passing grades (of a C or higher) in coursework.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Continue meeting program requirements with One Million Degrees including attending Saturday Development Sessions meetings with your program coordinator and coach etc.

In District of Columbia California Colorado Connecticut Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New York and Washington the national base pay range for this job level is $35000 to $65000 determinations are based on various factors including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and location.
