Job Description
Mixlab the fastgrowing veterinary compounding pharmacy is hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our Los Angeles pharmacy. We are looking for a Technician who is obsessed with details and is driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and their furry (and scaly! friends no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our LA operations run smoothly and to make Mixlab a 100 dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.
This is a fulltime hourly role at $2327 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside our team of licensed pharmacists to perform compounding pharmacy technician duties including:
- Filling and labeling prescriptions
- Packaging medications
- Keeping accurate records and monitoring inventory levels in accordance with CA State Board of Pharmacy & Federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Quickly and efficiently solve problems and jump in to help the team where necessary
About You:
- You have at least 2 years of experience working as a pharmacy technician directly with pharmacists in a compounding pharmacy
- You have experience working in veterinary care or the medical field or a strong interest in working in the field
- You have a customerfocused (and in our case a petfocused! mindset
- You thrive in a fastpaced work environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 of the time.
- Must be able to move boxes holding medications weighing up to 25lbs across the office
- You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and are a collaborative teamplayer
- You have an allhandsondeck attitude with an ability to remain calm and excel under pressure
- You have the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
- You constantly strive to wow clients and patients
- You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- You are spy and resourceful
- Youre not afraid of wearing multiple hats you pitch in to help the team when necessary
- You have flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
- MUST LOVE PETS and their people!

Pay ranges at Mixlab are based on competitive market data for our industry and company size. In addition to base pay our total compensation package for fulltime employees includes benefits and equity. We determine individual pay based on qualifications for the role experience level and skillset and we expect offers made to candidates to fall throughout the range advertised.
