The Role:

Supports the sales and catering team by managing administrative tasks coordinating events and ensuring seamless communication with clients. This role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities:

Answer the Sales phone and email to take client inquiries.
Completes daily proposals for group hotel stays receptions conventions and inhouse functions.
Assist in the creation of inhouse banquet event orders.
Works closely with the food & beverage team to coordinate event setup pricing specialty menus and facilitation.
Develop relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include calls property site tours and being present while a group is inhouse.
Creating and maintaining sales groups hotel reservations.
Process post group billing by auditing checks and creating final invoices.
Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Promotes outstanding guest relations.

Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests coworkers managers and vendors.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:

A. Knowledge: The level of education experience and training an individual must have at minimum to be considered qualified for the position.
B. Skills: Specific skills such as computer usage communication 10key touch etc.
C. Abilities: The physical components of the job and how the physical aspect is accomplished. Does the position require LIFTING 50 pounds or does it require one to MOVE 50 pounds. Can 50 pounds be moved using a dolly or cart (Examples: climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching handling fingering feeling talking hearing tasting smelling color vision etc.

Qualifications:

College degree or previous work equivalent required.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
Must possess computer skills (Casino systems and Microsoft applications including Word and Excel).
Must possess excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Ability to understand and promulgate written memos instructions regulations.
Excellent telephone skills required.
Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Must have knowledge in the hospitality market.
