LIFEGUARD JOB DESCRIPTION
A Lifeguards primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing all pool rules fairly and consistently. Lifeguards ensure proper pool water chemicals record keeping and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility. Lifeguards are also responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor.

Why sit inside with a summer internship when you can be outside making money and learning skills that will last a lifetime While it is fun the role of a Lifeguard must be taken very seriously because at any time someones life might depend on YOU!
LIFEGUARD REQUIREMENTS
*Lifeguards MUST be a minimum of 15 years old by the date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course
*Lifeguards MUST be able to work Memorial Day weekend 4th of July weekend and Labor Day weekend (Saturday Sunday Monday)
*Lifeguards MUST be able to work ALL WEEKENDS throughout the Summer (Friday Saturday Sunday)
*Lifeguards MUST professionally conduct themselves and must be attentive and focused
*Lifeguards MUST have a current Nationally Approved Lifeguard CPR/AED and First Aid Certificates or obtain them before the beginning of the season

The season begins on Saturday May 25 2024. The season ends Monday September 2nd 2024
Pay rate: $14.00/hr $17/hr Overtime (depending on experience).
Bonus and Incentive opportunities are available! Dont forget to ask how you can qualify for a $250 bonus!
