RPO Recruitments Client is urgently seeking the expertise of an Strata Controller in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will drive and ensure the optimum availability reliability productivity and safety of plant and equipment from an electrical perspective through their team.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Engineering practices
- Computer literacy
- Intermediate user of MS Office (Excel Word)
- JD Edwards or relevant equivalent
- Dynamic Production Monitoring System
- Active Factory Tool
- Achiever Isometrics and QlikView
- Diagnostic
- Root cause analysis and Problem solving
- ER knowledge and ISO Standards
- Mine Health and Safety Act
- All relevant COPs and SOPs
- Environmental Procedures
- HT Switching
- Working knowledge of all SHERQ related policies practices and procedures
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Planning and organising
- Leading and supervising
- Adhering to principles and values
- Achieving personal work goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Engineering Technical Trade Test in Electrical
- Engineering National Certificate N3
- First Line Supervision certificate/qualification (NQF 4 150 credits)
- 4 years operational Mining / Maintenance environment experience
- 3 years Team / Project leader / Supervisory experience
