Job Description
Overview
Challenger Lifts Inc. a division of Snapon is seeking a candidate that can perform necessary inventory control tasks as required and provide support to the Production Inventory Control Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Cycle count material daily
- Work collaboratively with other cycle count associates to complete each list of items.
- Place material in designated area.
- Make recommendations to improve inventory efficiencies.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow safety rules keep clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum High school diploma or GED.
- Good and punctual attendance record.
- Full knowledge of standard practices in inventory control and cycle counting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Perform other related material tasks.
- Possess good working knowledge of all Material Control Functions.
- Experience with Excel databases and written processes.
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative.
- Must possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Qualified to operate fork truck material handling equipment and packaging machines.
- Must Align with Snapon mission statement
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; HiVis Vest Steel Toe Shoes Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable) Gloves (If Applicable) and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
- Must adhere to safety guidelines
