Located on a beautiful 10acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale Devereux Arizonas 24hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) has the capacity to serve 52 children. The RTC is a safe supportive environment that provides various services to youth from the ages of 7 to 17 who are experiencing emotional behavioral or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories a therapeutic K12 day school food services medical/nursing and therapy services.
As a OVERNIGHT Direct Care Professional (DCP) you will work directly with the children/youth to be seen as a positive role model dedicated and truly caring about their wellbeing. DCPs mentor and have fun with kids doing various yearround activities such as art projects music groups animal therapy various athletics (basketball soccer Frisbee etc) and adulthood transition prep! You will assist and support the planning implementation and documentation of those programs designed to meet the social emotional physical and personal needs of individuals on Campus.
Pay Range: $18 $19.80 / hr
Schedule: Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday 10:30pm 8:30am
Shift Differential: $2/hr. for hours worked between 11pm7am 7 days/week

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Psychology Social Work or relevant field preferred
- Six 6 weeks of behavioral health work experience required
- OR Bachelors degree in the areas of psychology sociology social work education or other related field OR 12 years of related experience
- Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders complex posttraumatic stress disorder cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders
OTHER:
- Must be available to attend two 2 weeks of new hire orientation (paid MonFri 8:30am5pm) plus 23 weeks of on the job training
- Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

- Valid Arizona Drivers License & pass DMV 36month history check
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).Arizona Revised Statues Notice (ARS 36411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a persons employment record contains a sixmonth or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
