Job Description

Shulman Rogers Creditors Rights Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Department is seeking an experienced Paralegal. The successful candidate will have five or more years of experience in commercial and residential foreclosure with an emphasis on Maryland foreclosures bankruptcy drafting and filing handling of creditors rights collection matters and related work.

Duties include:

  • Preparing foreclosure notices and docketing materials.
  • Handling of all aspects of foreclosure from referral to postclosing.
  • Preparing bankruptcy filings.
  • Knowledge and use of state and federal electronic filing systems.
  • Review of title reports and preparation of title claims.

Candidate must possess:

  • A bachelors degree and/or paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and other titleindustry based software required.
