Here at Amazon were seeking for a results driven Senior Project Manager to launch the Project Management function of our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) operations for Australia.
The ICQA mission is to drive down defects in Amazons inventory through development of a data landscape and by focusing on continuous process improvements. This is accomplished through our ICQA standard processes. Our vision is to meet and exceed customers expectations both buyers and sellers with defectfree order fulfillment. Customers get exactly what was ordered in the best possible condition because the inventory was received stowed picked packed and shipped in the most effective and accurate way achievable. We execute our strategy through audits inventory counts (according to SOX requirements) and projects while striving to be Earths best employer. We work to build a culture of quality in E2E fulfillment operations while developing our managers to lead through engagement and building partnerships.
The Senior Program Manager will play an active and critical role in the AU ICQA team leading top projects from roadmap and supporting AU ICQA regional team and central team in implementing AU ICQA vision mission and strategy as well as other departments such as Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Loss and Prevention (LP) Finance Ops Integration (Concessions team) and Learn and Development (L&D). Senior PM will drive speed quality and simplification by eliminating rework loops and implementing and supporting best practices across the business minimizing process variability through standardization and automation.
To be successful in this role the candidate will require knowledge in operations and apply the best project management approach depending on projects needs and be able to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced global environment assess and manage risks on an ongoing basis.
Key Job Responsibilities:
The major tasks and responsibilities will involve (but not limited to) the following:
Execute projects on time versus scheduled and accordingly to resource capacity planning
Monitoring and reporting regular work progress with reports towards meeting the project deliverables
Monitoring project resource and manpower requirements
Keeping the project focus in line with detailed project plans
Capturing lessons learned throughout the life of the project and translate them into opportunity of improvements best practices and new standard.

Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience defining and executing program requirements
Strong analytical abilities and data analysis skills
You possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
Experience in driving process improvements experience
Bachelors or Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc..
