Job Description
Damovo is looking for a Network Operations Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. In this role you will be part of an agile and collaborative team working in an open and diverse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our customers network and UC infrastructures through proactive monitoring troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Technical processing and Coordinating with the customer to fulfill the incident management process
- Remote Managed Service Support Level 13. Providing initial incident response (level 1 2 & 3 employing corrective actions escalating issues where needed and generating event reports
- Supporting the field service organization during implementation within the framework of remote project support
- Close coordination with the service coordinators to ensure alerts are properly registered in the ticketing system responses are timely and remediation statuses are communicated
- Providing operational services for the systems operated by Damovo for its own use
- Creation and maintaining the technical documentation database related to the network and UC systems
- Use of network monitoring solutions
- The product focus is on the UC/ ICT portfolio of the manufacturer Cisco and the 3rd party applications used in the operating environment
- Completed vocational training e.g. as a communications electronics technician or IT systems electronics technician or a comparable qualification / professional experience
- Basic knowledge of current network technologies with a focus on UC technologies
- Experience in working with Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English with good German skills (min. B1 level)
- Motivated to gain handson experience using novel technologies to manage complex systems
