We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to join our team in New Holland PA manufacturing plant. In this role you will be a key leader in fostering a culture of carewhere safety health and wellbeing are built into the fabric of our daily operations. You will play a handson role in driving lasting behavioral change and continuous improvement by actively engaging with team members on the shop floor building trust and promoting shared ownership of safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs / procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce occupational hazards associated with plant operations including risk analysis and safety initiatives
- Develop implement and influence a proactive and engaged safety culture
- Develop conduct and coordinate EHS training and communication programs
- Lead the plants Safety Team and participate in functional area improvements
- Conducts EHS audits and investigations to ensure compliance with local state and federal laws standards and regulations ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
- Investigates EHS incidents develops recommendations and followup to prevent recurrence.
- Leads the plants pollution prevention and waste minimization programs through periodic monitoring and technical guidance.
- Track and report metrics indicative of EHS performance
- Coordinate industrial hygiene sampling and exposure evaluations as required
- Participate in regional EHS audit teams as needed
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Safety or Industrial Health or other technical field
- 3or more years of work experience to include knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations Title IV AirPermits Wastewater and Stormwater Permits
- Daily use of MS Office applications especially Excel Power BI
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a fast paced heavy manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster employee engagement and effect change
- Experience in Behavioral Based Safety
- Proven track record of collaboration with hourly employees through senior leadership
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification

Annual base salary range for this position is $72750 $112500 USD. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as skill experience and qualification for the role.
