Job Description
This is a program for ActiveDuty Military Members and Military Spouses through Hiring our Heroes (HoH) Corporate Fellowship. If you are not an Active Duty Military Member or Military Spouse please do not apply through this posting.

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide lowlatency highspeed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Key job responsibilities
Design and Implement Telecom Components Applications and Services
Partner with the Satellite Networks and Security engineering teams
Design components services and relevant data models
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Have you wanted an opportunity to develop the software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service This role is for a Software Development Engineer who will design build and maintain components and services of Project Kuipers Customer Engagement Systems and interact with the core Kuiper Network.
About the team
Our team owns developing the architecture solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services; for example identity and account management subscriber management services user provisioning billing and payments customer and technical support tools offer management tools and customer metrics and analytics.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Must be an U.S. Military member with 180 days of time in service remaining or an employment ready military spouse
Must be an approved candidate for Hiring our Heroes (HOH) Cohort
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
