- Completed a twoyear Associate degree in Electrical Robotics Mechatronics Diesel Mechanics or a similar technical field OR currently seeking an Associates degree in one of those areas.

What Youll Do
You keep Daktronics factories running smoothly and without incident. You do this by:
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on automated equipment.
- Making emergency repairs to electrical mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Training peers to perform maintenance tasks.
- Communicating effectively over the phone to repair equipment.
- Performing other duties as assigned and as needed to meet customer expectations.
Because you bring a unique perspective to maintenance youll impact operational excellence by:
- Evaluating and improving preventative maintenance programs.
- Operating automated equipment.
- Inputting details into work orders on work performed and materials consumed.
- Contributing to discussions regarding new equipment purchases processes and materials.
- Maintaining records of maintenance procedures and parts.
Youll have a consistent schedule each week:
- Monday Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
- There may be occasional overtime opportunities paid at time and a half.

Qualifications
- Completion of or current enrollment in a twoyear Associate degree in Electrical Robotics Mechatronics Diesel Mechanics ora similar technical field is required.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Ability to follow work plans and prioritize work orders escalating issues when needed.
- Work effectively as a team member with little supervision.
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to distinguish and identify wire colors.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy (up to 75 lbs. and/or awkward items.
- Ability to work with your hands and maintain steady handeye coordination.
- Ability to stand and/or sit for the full shift.
- Have full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting).
- Ability to reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions.
- Ability to read fine print with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to work with various manufacturing odors.
- Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA may include the following: safety glasses safety shoes/boots hearing protection electrostatic discharge wear and others as determined necessary by Daktronics Risk and Safety Department. Pulmonary function tests for use of respirator may be required.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid drivers license and good driving vehicle record will be checked.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
