The City of Birmingham MI an Equal Opportunity Employer is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals interested in landscaping or horticulture for the entrylevel position of Parks & Recreation Seasonal Laborer. This position is an excellent introduction to those developing their interest in Public Services as well as a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to improve their trade skills and abilities or to gain a parttime position for the season.
Under supervision of the Parks and Recreation Manager seasonal laborers work in various City parks and athletic fields ensuring the grounds look great for the summer. They play a vital role in making Birmingham a great place to live work and play!
Requirements:
- Interested candidates must be able to work outdoors in a maintenance capacity.
- Prior Parks & Recreation or Landscaping or golf course experience is a plus.
Wages:
- Pay range of $15.00 $19.75 per hour depending on qualifications.
