To excel as a FullTime CDL Transportation Specialist at HME Specialists you will need a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. A valid Class C drivers license with a Hazmat endorsement is essential for the safe operation of our company vehicles. You will be traveling extensivelyover 300 miles weeklyso strong route management skills are crucial for optimizing delivery schedules. Proficiency in tracking and labeling liquid oxygen vessels is necessary ensuring compliance with USP standards and accurate lot number documentation. Effective coordination with facility representatives will be key to facilitating timely fill days and ensuring seamless service.

Additionally conducting thorough pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections is vital for maintaining safety and compliance on the road. Your ability to balance safety efficiency and customer service will be essential in this impactful role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Operation of Company Vehicle: Safely operate company vehicles with a valid Class C drivers license. Hazmat Endorsement Required.
• Travel: Travel to and from facilities across 300 miles weekly to fill liquid oxygen vessels.
• Tracking and Labeling: Track daily liquid oxygen vessels filled and ensure proper labeling of vessels
• including USP labeling and lot number.
• Coordination: Coordinate fill days with facility representatives to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct daily pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Route Management: Manage daily routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
