About this position
Provides hospice customers and their loved ones with the appropriate spiritual/existential care at the endoflife. The position supports hospice recipients through direct counsel assessment of spiritual/existential needs consultation with hospice team members and by facilitating access to communitybased resources.
Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree required; graduate level in theological studies or related field preferred.
Sensitive to spiritual pluralism and able to provide for the free exercise of spirituality by all customers.
Completed four units 1600 hours) of clinical pastoral education (CPE) preferred.
Experience
At least two years of spiritual counseling experience preferred.
Experience with death and dying preferred
Licensure/Certification
Valid Class D drivers license in state of residency with acceptable driving record and annual proof of auto insurance per hospital policy BH Standard
