Are you a proactive selfmotivating Truck Driver looking for an opportunity to grow with a dynamic and forwardthinking organization If so MetCon Inc. has the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a FullTime CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team.
MetCon Inc. a rapidly growing structural steel fabrication and erection company is seeking a fulltime CDL Class A Truck Driver to deliver structural steel from our Cocoa FL headquarters to our job sites throughout Florida. This position will also require making deliveries to Richmond VA approximately 2 times a month.

The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Physical moving of materials on and off trucks trailers ground and shop floor
- Handling materials manually or using a forklift and/or overhead crane
- Coordinate daily activities with shipping and receiving
- Monitor the maintenance of flat bed boom truck and other equipment
- Transport freight items and delivering them to various locations and haul oversized loads
- Required to tie down loads to ensure stability help plan routes and delivery schedules
- Assist with loading or unloading cargo when needed
- Responsible for the timely completion of Drivers Log Safety Reports and other required documents
Successful candidates will have:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to read write and speak the English language
- Prior driving experience with deliveries to construction jobsites
- Knowledge of stairs rails and structural steel is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced work environment
- Sound judgement of safety procedures and regulations
- Clean driving record
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial truck driving preferred
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as required
- Selected applicant will be subject to a preemployment physical with drug/alcohol testing and DOT DMV verifications
