Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Mechanic ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams sketches operations manuals manufacturers instructions and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. This is a second shift position with training required on First Shift. Training is usually three months but could be adjusted based on incumbents learning progress.
Qualifications:
Solid stable work history with a minimum of three years of experience as a maintenance mechanic
Manufacturing experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Technical or Trade Education preferred
Ability to read write and understands and communicate effectively in English
Willingness to work in a team environment and participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities
