Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Rhome TX
Schedule: Monday Thursday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Additional time may be required based on production needs)
Pay Rate:$20/hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and detailoriented Machine Operator with manufacturing experience to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the production of highquality foodsafe products that meet customer specifications. As a part of our team you will work in a SQFcertified environment where food safety and quality are our top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee startup and shutdown procedures for production lines.
Assign team members to their designated machines and duties.
Operate and monitor bagging machines making adjustments as needed.
Maintain consistent product quality and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Refill machines with necessary materials (filter paper machine printer paper box erector tape printer cartridges).
Work independently and efficiently to meet production goals.
Assist in training and mentoring new employees.
Verify and validate cleaning and sanitation paperwork.
Complete all required daily production documentation.
Manage packaging materials for the assigned production line (boxes bags tape etc..
Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong ability to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Resultsdriven with excellent problemsolving skills.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred for effective communication.
Current forklift license required.
Leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
