Position Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at a stateoperated hospital in Indiana you will deliver essential nursing care to diverse patient populations managing acute medical conditions while ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols. This role combines clinical expertise with patient education and crisis intervention requiring collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
Education:Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
Licensure:Active Indiana LPN license; Current CPR certification
Experience:1 years of clinical experience (preferred)
Technical Skills:Proficiency in EMR systems and medication administration;Care plan development and crisis response
Soft Skills:Strong communication for patient/family education and team collaboration; Adaptability in fastpaced highstress environments
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize and organize daily patient care assignments in collaboration with clinical staff.
Administer medications and treatments per hospital policy documenting outcomes.
Conduct ongoing assessments of patients physical and psychosocial status.
Develop and implement nursing care plans for acute medical conditions.
Educate patients and families on treatments medications and safety practices.
Respond to emergencies and deescalate agitated patients using behavioral intervention training.
Supervise support staff and communicate unit needs to supervisors.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and observation notes.
