As the Senior Work Health & Safety (WHS) Advisor you will be a trusted expert providing specialist knowledge of WHS legislation relevant policies and programs and delivering proactive and efficient service to support better work practices the highest standards of WHS performance and regulatory compliance.
This is a Permanent FullTime position based at St Vincents Hospital Sydney Darlinghurst.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Spearhead WHS focused initiatives to proactively enhance WHS processes and risk mitigation strategies directly contributing to a safer and more secure environment for all
Act as a trusted advisor providing timely and insightful WHS support and guidance to St Vincents facilities empowering them to excel in safety and compliance
Champion a culture of safety engagement collaborating with workers to cultivate effective processes that ensure and maintain exemplary safety standards
Play a pivotal role in the implementation and continuous improvement of St Vincents future of workplace health & safety
Conduct thorough WHS audits and gap analyses identifying key opportunities for improvement and driving impactful change across the organisation

Proven experience in a similar Senior WHS role demonstrating your expertise and passion for creating safe work environments
Comprehensive knowledge of WHS legislation and requirements positioning you as a subject matter expert and leader in your field
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire educate and empower others to embrace a safetyfirst mindset
Effectively lead multiple complex projects simultaneously demonstrating your exceptional organisational and time management skills in a fastpaced environment
Adept at identifying and evaluating issues to implement practical solutions highlighting your problemsolving capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement
