Job Description
The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Geolocation Operator Sierra qualified candidate who is looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Augusta GA area.
Primary Responsibilities
The Journeyman Operator shall perform operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search detect identify intercept and locate signals of interest. The JOSierra also performs signals analysis in order to identify collected signals. The Journeyman Operators will mentor less experienced Operators to enhance and reinforce the training program and operational TTPs.
Basic Qualifications
Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
BA degree and 8 or more years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters with 6 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Current certification from Joint Overhead ISR Operations in a nonAPG geolocation method
Prior completion of the Intermediate 451 or Advanced 452 Signals Analysis Course
Preferred Qualifications
Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in a foreign language.
Current certification in one or more Aerial Precision Geolocation (APG) modes

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89700.00 $162150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
