As the Strategy & Planning Officer at Melbourne Law School youll have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence. Youll support the implementation of key projects assist with business planning and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Your role will involve working closely with senior leadership providing both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform critical decisions and shape the schools future.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Strategic Alignment: Coordinate and monitor progress against strategic initiatives support annual business planning and assist with performance reviews.
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Assist in operational planning maintain risk registers and drive process improvements across the faculty.
  • Provide DataDriven Insights: Analyse data conduct research and offer recommendations to support evidencebased decisionmaking.
  • Manage Key Projects: Develop project plans ensure timely delivery of milestones and continuously evaluate project performance.

You are a highly organised selfmotivated professional with strong analytical skills excellent communication abilities and a talent for managing multiple priorities in a dynamic academic environment.

You may also:

  • Possess a relevant degree with subsequent work experience or equivalent combination.
  • Demonstrate highlevel quantitative and qualitative data literacy skills.
  • Have experience in project coordination and stakeholder management.
  • Excel in producing wellwritten reports briefing notes and presentations.
  • Be proficient in various computer applications including project management software.
  • Thrive in building positive working relationships across diverse teams.
  • Adapt quickly to new systems and drive process improvements.
