Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Business Analyst with a flexible approach who will be responsible for gathering documenting and elaborating requirements for both client facing and internal development projects and providing client support for the INSTANDA platform.
This is a clientfacing role where you are expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of the INSTANDA platform. You will be a conduit between clients and developers. Full immersion in the INSTANDA platform is essential as success in this role is directly related to gaining substantial knowledge of it.
You will readily demonstrate experience of capturing technical business requirements.
The ideal candidate should have an analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to ensure the smooth delivery of our solution to our clients. The position is perfect for someone who wants to experience working for a scaling tech company and be instrumental in helping our business thrive.
This is a UK based role primarily remote working with travel required to our London Office for monthly team meetings. This role will require occasional travel to client sites in other parts of the UK and overseas.
What you will do:
- You will be working on complex projects with high profile Insurance clients.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with our clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Effectively capture understand define and document functional and nonfunctional business requirements that gather the clients key criteria and technical requirements and align these to our commercial and technical considerations.
- Partner with our service delivery and engineering teams to support design and sign off potential new functionalities
- Support the UAT process of the INSTANDA configuration and of new functionalities.
- Take a handson approach to troubleshooting.
Requirements
Essential
- 5 years experience as a Business Analyst
- Core insurance knowledge is essential for this role to successfully build relationships with our clients.
- Experience of gathering technical business requirements.
- Experience of the endtoend software delivery cycle.
- Extensive experience of working with development teams and external clients.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience of Agile methodologies.
- Experience of process and systems analysis and experience in translating requirements into User Stories for inclusion in sprints.
- Confident in presenting to clients partner organisations and within INSTANDA
- Experience of SaaS or platform technology solutions will be a distinct advantage
