Donohue Commercial Service has been a trusted provider of HVAC mechanical services to the commercial and industrial sectors since 1976. We specialize in preventative maintenance offering customized service programs that minimize HVAC failures and reduce energy consumption. Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher/Office Clerk to join our team. This dualrole position involves coordinating service calls and providing general office support to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatcher Duties:

  • Receive and prioritize service requests from clients.
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and client interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and technicians to ensure timely service delivery.

Office Clerk Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Assist with filing data entry and maintaining office supplies.
  • Prepare and process servicerelated documentation.
  • Support administrative staff with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.

  • Previous experience in dispatching or office administration preferably in a mechanical or serviceoriented environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Not Required Skills:

  • Understanding of mechanical systems in order to make appropriate decisions in scheduling all types of work.
  • Knowledge of ValueBuilder accounting and service software.
