Construction Site Manager

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilledSite Manager on a casual basis/fixed termto oversee and manage all site activities ensuring compliance with Occupational Health Safety and Environmental (OH&SE) regulations. The successful candidate will lead a variety of construction projects including fitouts remedial works refurbishments and new builds within a professional and continuously improving environment.

TheSite Managerwill be responsible for fostering strong relationships with subcontractors Project Managers City Partners landlords stakeholders and colleagues both within and outside of City Holdings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum24 yearsof experience in a Site Management role.
• Trade qualification inCarpentry(highly desirable).
• Strong knowledge ofconstruction processesandOH&SE laws and regulations.
• Proven experience managing commercial and remedial building projects through their full lifecycle.

Key Skills & Expertise:

• Ability to interpret and analyzetechnical specifications drawings and documentsto develop project plans.
• Strongwritten and verbal communication skills including the ability to write reports manage project administration and liaise with key stakeholders.
• High level ofnumeracy skillsfor scaling drawings verifying measurements and performing calculations.
• Exceptionalleadership and people managementskills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communication & Reporting

• Serve as the primary point of contact forsubcontractors clients architects engineers and local authorities.
• Maintain clear and professional communication representing the company withintegrity and professionalism.
• Document and maintainaccurate site records including inductions toolbox talks site safety inspections and accident reports.
• Ensurequality controlacross all trades and adherence to health & safety requirements.

2. Leadership & Site Management

• Oversee sitebased operatives ensuring all work is conductedsafely and efficiently.
• Conductsite safety inductions toolbox talks and quality control checks.
• Monitorbudget considerations identifying potential cost savings.
• Ensure allmaterials and subcontractor workmeet technical and quality specifications.

3. Health Safety & Environment (OH&SE)

• Maintain a safe site environment for workers visitors and the public.
• Implement and enforceOH&SE protocols ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Oversee thesecurity of materials equipment and completed works.
• Ensure adherence tosafety codes and best practicesin construction work.

4. Project Planning &

• Work closely with theProject Managerto develop and execute project plans.
• Set upsite facilities including emergency plans and security measures.
• Managematerials stock plant and tools ensuring efficient usage.
• Track project progress and maintain detailedrecords and reports.
• Ensure projects are completedon time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
