Now Hiring: Journeyman Electricians Heavy Commercial EMT Runners
Start Date: Approximately May 12 2025
Location: Amarillo TX 79101 (Project site is 20 miles east of Amarillo)
Industry: Heavy Commercial Electrical
Positions Needed: 4 Shift: 5 Days/Week 10Hour Shifts
Per Diem: Available for qualifying candidates (El Dorado area or outofstate)
Transportation: Support may be available based on lodging location
Great Basin Staffing LLC is actively hiring Heavy Commercial EMT Runners for a largescale electrical project east of Amarillo Texas. If you have handson experience running EMT conduit in a commercial or industrial environment we want to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities:

Install EMT conduit according to project specifications and local/national electrical codes
-
Measure cut bend thread and assemble conduit using proper tools and techniques
-
Assist journeyman electricians with layout and routing of conduit runs
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area
-
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
-
Work independently or as part of a larger crew to meet project deadlines
Job Requirements:
-
1 year of experience working with EMT in commercial or industrial settings
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics (preferred)
-
Must possess basic hand tools
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
-
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
-
OSHA 10 certification preferred (can be obtained before start date)
Compensation:

Hourly rate pending confirmation from Great Basin Staffing

Per diem available for eligible travelers

Transportation support may be provided depending on lodging proximity
