- Knowledge of one or more programming languages commonly used in software development such as Java.
- Understanding of software engineering principles data structures algorithms objectoriented design concepts clean code and SOLID principles.
- Familiarity with software development tools and technologies including integrated development environments (IDEs) version control systems (e.g. Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA).
- Basic understanding of software practices such as Agile development methodologies code reviews and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Skills in unit test and/or TestDriven Development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Problemsolving skills.
- Continuous Learning and development mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science or related fields is preferable but not required.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
