Job Description
Location: Chambersburg PA 17201
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
(Local & Traveler Candidates Welcome)
Position Details:
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1960 $2120
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform evaluations to identify speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Create individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Therapy Implementation: Provide therapy focusing on speech articulation language comprehension and expression voice fluency social communication and swallowing.
- Swallowing Therapy: Develop and administer therapy for swallowing disorders.
- Family & Caregiver Education: Train families and caregivers on supportive strategies for effective communication and swallowing.
- Collaboration: Partner with physicians audiologists and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation for patient assessments treatment and progress.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility to obtain.
- CCCSLP certification from ASHA (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with a diverse patient population is an advantage.
