Overview: Our client is a wellestablished provider of robust I.T Solutions to major corporations across the Caribbean. Due to growth they are seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant to assist Senior Management with financial services based in the Barbados office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Achievement of financial and other targets as determined to include the preparation and submission of accurate financial reports in agreed timelines.
Monitor expenditures and revenues against appropriate budgets.
Monitor all financial reports from the general and subsidiary ledges and assist in reconciliation and summary data reports.
Prepare monthly financial reports monitor workflow review and evaluate work products methods and procedures.
Preparing of revenue projections and forecasting expenditure
Liaise with FCs in region for monthly quarterly and annual reports.
Prepare sensitivity assessments on company products.
Conduct analysis to assess potential risks.
Investigating and resolving audit findings account discrepancies and issues of noncompliance
Participate in the development and administration of company budgets direct the monitoring of and approve expenditures making recommendations to the Business Unit Head.
To remain current with accounting standards and ensure the delivery of quality service to the Unit s customers/clients in accordance with established standards policies and business practices.
Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records.

Ensure compliance to Health and Safety standards and practices in accordance with company policy and legislation.
Ensure compliance to recordkeeping reporting and timetracking requirements similarly for subordinates. Annual budget preparation
Analysis and preparation of monthly financial reports

Requirements
- ACCA/CGA qualification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sound knowledge of Accounting Systems
- At least four years experience in an operational accounting environment two 2 of which should have included the preparation of final accounts.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise commensurate levels of initiative and judgment.
