Job Description

As an Azure Data Engineer you will:

  • Independently design and implement robust data solutions based on highlevel architecture guidelines.

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines leveraging Azure Databricks for data ingestion transformation and preprocessing from varied data sources.

  • Collaborate with customers to gather and understand business requirements for data pipelines lakes and migration initiatives.

  • Monitor and support Azure DevOps workflows Databricks pipelines and participate in production support activities.

  • Stay proactive and open to learning Azure monitoring and logging services to enhance observability and operational efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 4 6 years of professional experience in data engineering and cloudbased data solutions.

  • Strong handson experience with Python Scala and PySpark/SparkSQL.

  • Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with Azure services including Databricks ADLS ADF Unity Catalog Stream Analytics SQL Data Warehouse Cosmos DB and Azure Functions.

  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and ARM templates.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Translate business requirements into efficient scalable data engineering solutions.

  • Work independently and collaboratively across technical teams and customer stakeholders.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines in a cloudbased environment.

  • Adapt to new technologies and be willing to explore tools in monitoring and observability within Azure.

  • Demonstrate solid problemsolving skills and initiative in a dynamic environment.
