Job Description
Solar Sales Executives job is to generate sales of solar products and services by engaging with customers assessing their energy needs presenting customized solutions and guiding them through the purchasing process. This involves educating potential customers about solar benefits and cost savings and potentially providing technical information.
Key Responsibilities:
Generating Leads and Closing Sales:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities including lead generation prospecting and networking.
Customer Engagement:
Understanding customer needs presenting customized solar solutions and guiding them through the purchasing process.
Technical Expertise:
Providing technical information about solar power systems equipment and services.
Proposal and Contract Preparation:
Preparing proposals contracts and followup documentation.
Sales Strategy:
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
Customer Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure longterm satisfaction.
Market Knowledge:
Staying informed about industry trends market conditions and competitors.
Site Assessment:
Assessing sites to determine suitability for solar equipment.
Documentation:
Preparing detailed design drawings specifications or lists related to solar installations.
Order Processing:
Taking quote requests or orders providing customers with order details and quotes and handling logistics.
Technical Advice:
Providing technical advice on all aspects of installation and use of the product.
Reporting:
Providing regular reporting to Senior Sales Manager including sales pipeline development forecasting key account status market condition updates sales results and team earnings.
Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role. Proficiency in English. Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques. Fast learning speed and a passion for sales Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations. A high school degree
