Job Description: Senior Education Counselor (Aviation Institute)
Female Only
Overview: Provide academic and career counseling to aviation students guiding them from admission through graduation.
Responsibilities:
- Academic Advising: Assist students in course selection and academic planning.
- Career Counseling: Guide students on aviation career opportunities job searches and interview preparation.
- Admissions Support: Help prospective students with the application process and conduct information sessions.
- Student Support: Offer support for academic and personal challenges and deliver skill development workshops.
- Financial Aid: Assist with financial aid scholarships and tuition planning.
- Program Development: Collaborate on program enhancements and evaluate counseling services.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate student records and prepare outcome reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in counseling education or aviation management (Masters preferred).
- Experience: 5 years in academic advising or career counseling preferably in aviation.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of aviation careers excellent communication counseling proficiency and familiarity with educational technology.
