- Drives performance improvement efforts across department (output cost safety environment and people)
- Lead and support Manager Quality Systems in area performance(data driven) and management process
- Lead water systems activities to drive increased OEEs to meet required targets and improve product quality
- Manage all water systems activities within area focusing on both efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop a high performing team capable of sustaining operational excellence initiatives
- Support organizational quality and environmental initiatives across the site
- Execute administrative tasks
- Ensures all sanitation activities are performed on time and within the required timeframes.
- Drives CI initiatives within Water Systems Operations and Quality
- Ensures all equipment and surfaces in PI and AL plants meet or exceed food grade standards of cleanliness per USDA/FDA/CA regulations
- Studies existing and pending USDA/FDA regulations in order to ensure compliance as well as to suggest methods to improve sanitation
- Trains crew on plant sanitation PFIs good manufacturing practices (GMPs) conducts inspections and holds staff accountable
- Handles administrative tasks for sanitation supervisor (attendance discipline staffing supply replenishment etc)
- Manage hygiene and sanitation activities of the plant and supports Lab Manager in driving strategic projects and analytical method developments
Qualifications :
Minimum
- Degree in relevant field (Chemistry microbiology Hydrology/Hydrogeology or engineering)
- Advanced knowledge of hydrology and or plant hygiene and sanitation with at least 5 years experience in related field
- Extensive knowledge of Regulatory standards( IBWA and FDA)
Preferred
- Masters Degree in water resource engineering or hydrology or related field
- HACCP and SQF practitioner
- Past experience in hydrology/hydrogeology
