We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Product Owner to join our Research and Innovation value stream which includes the Research and Innovation office Libraries and Centre for eResearch. We are looking for a proactive candidate who will bring their strengths in communication facilitation and passion to empower established delivery teams succeed.
This position will be based in our Digital Services department supporting the Research and Innovation Product Manager.
As a Product Owner you will:
- to manage receiving and prioritisation of work
- be the goto person for product information representing customer and stakeholder interests in the product to the delivery team.
- prepare information and participate in key Governance forums
- establish and foster key business relationships with Academics and Professional staff
- Match technology solutions with business strategies through the strength of your connections and your collaborative approach.
- Support us to develop and review our range of services that support our business partners and support the development of a roadmap to deliver on our vision.
- Help define and publish a service catalogue of all research facing services and what they offer
For more information on the role please view the position description. This is a full time 37.5 hours/week) fixed term 12 month) position with a salary range of $120000 $145000 depending on skills and experience.

- The successful candidate will bring motivation and strong experience in larger organisations as a Product Owner experience in managing a Product backlog is essential.
- Youll be methodical in your approach to structuring your workload and be comfortable working within an Agile (Scrum) framework.
- Able to work collaboratively with Product Practice and other Business Platforms Product Owners.
- Your strengths in relationship building and business partnership management will be integral to your success in this role.
- You will be adept at engaging with staff and working collaboratively with a solutionsfocused attitude that means youre confident identifying and implementing practical solutions.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
