Job Description

Reporting to the Category Marketing Manager you will partner with the buying team to deliver effective multichannel campaigns that are aligned to the buying strategy and drive profitable sales growth and acquires customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver datadriven marketing campaigns based on marketing trends and Buyer objectives. Ensure that the recommendation is successfully executed by working efficiently with our Media and Content partners coordinating with crossfunctional teams managing resources and ensuring that campaigns are launched on time and meet defined performance metrics. 
  • Support the Marketing Coordinators to ensure the effective delivery of category promotions ensuring timelines are met messaging is clear and consistent and all legal and permit requirements are adhered too.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Team to map out customer online experiences that support brand and category initiatives and publish advertising content as needed.
  • Track all category advertising/promotional activity and work in collaboration with buyers to ensure that annual activities are cycled.
  • Compile the weekly Category offers for online TVC eDMs and digital advertising and ensure the products selected for all advertising meet the business objective of proving value.
  • Work closely with buyers to provide opportunities to gain over and above Supplier support and ensure the collection of funds from all Supplier funded advertising.
  • Prepare any campaign analysis required for securing supplier funding and assessing campaign effectiveness. 
  • Adhere to business processes and deadlines and ensure templates are used in every instance when creating marketing material. Ensure all messaging resonates with customers and avoids mistakes that could confuse frustrate or mislead. Have all nonstandard advertising signed off by a manager prior to publishing. 
  • Conduct a quarterly review of all legal training and ensure that all advertising materials comply with the established legal guidelines.
  • Develop effective and efficient briefs to the design studio external agencies and digital publishing team to create capacity within the studio and to reduce draft wastage.
  • Develop clear and concise communications for Operations and the Customer Contact Centre to ensure a clear understanding of the promotions and maximise .
  • Monitor competitor activity.

Qualifications :

Tertiary Marketing qualifications

3 years experience working with retail brands and various media activities

Demonstrated experience with advertising studios and production processes
