We are looking for a passionate and resultdriven Demand and Inventory Manager (all genders) with strong analytical skills the ability to consider the bigger picture when executing quantitative tasks and effective communication skills to join the team. The Senior Demand and Inventory Manager is responsible to continuously improve availability and drive inventory performance. This includes
- Aligning on consensus demand on supplier / SKU level
- Creating transparency on the development of OOS (Out of Stock)/OV (OverStock) and its root causes by leveraging data and analytics
- Initiating & coordinating crossfunctional actions to fix issues
- Identifying opportunities (and drive projects) to structurally improve processes tools methods to fix the root causes
Your tasks:
Demand & Supply Planning:
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing Brand and Product teams to align on crossfunctional priorities relevant to the demand planning process.
- Gather and analyze input to enhance forecast data and generate a consensus demand considering factors such as:
- Assortment changes and listings
- Promotional impacts
- Portfolio shifts between suppliers
- Strategic growth plans and overall demand developments
- Manage purchasing and inventory predictions for the short to midterm planning horizon effectively communicating these plans to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively support the business by providing uptodate merchandise availability information ensuring inventory is allocated according to demand and avoiding overstock situations.
- Contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by translating strategic and tactical plans into replenishment actions promotional activities and forecast adjustments.
OutofStock (OOS) / OverStock (OV) Analysis and Actions:
- Analyze missed KPIs to provide transparency on root causes to all stakeholders.
- Implement corrective actions to address identified issues such as near outofstock situations and stock expiry.
- Lead supply chain integration projects with key suppliers.
- Identify structural problems and improvement opportunities initiating relevant projects to structurally improve processes tools methods.
- Create a comprehensive overview of ongoing and planned highimpact measures on OOS/OV.
- Identify gaps to reach committed targets align on additional measures and reevaluate and reprioritize as necessary with relevant stakeholders.
- Take ownership of smallscale projects and drive their implementation contributing to larger projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years of significant experience gained in a project oriented and/or analytically focused role (e.g. consulting project management business analyst)
- University degree with a quantitative focus
- Advanced Excel user; experience with SQL Power BI is a big plus
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills: A focus on translating data into actionable insights to drive informed decisionmaking
- Strong team player with effective communication skills across various seniorities and backgrounds as well as an ability to present complex ideas
- Entrepreneurial mindset with cando attitude
- Track record of exceptional project results
- Fluency in English
