Employment Type: FullTime In office Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday required. Some overtime may be required. Travel between company sites within Calgary is required.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CMMS Administrator / Maintenance Planner to support our manufacturing operations by managing our MICROMAIN Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and coordinating all maintenance planning activities.
This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment reliability minimizing downtime and supporting a safe efficient and productive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the CMMS to ensure accurate and uptodate equipment work order and maintenance records.
Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities coordinating with maintenance technicians production supervisors and other stakeholders to minimize disruption to production.
Create assign and track work orders for preventive predictive and corrective maintenance.
Monitor maintenance KPIs (e.g. MTTR MTBF PM compliance) and generate performance reports.
Ensure all critical spare parts are available and inventory levels are maintained in coordination with the storeroom or procurement teams.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability.
Train maintenance and operations staff on proper CMMS usage and best practices.
Audit CMMS data regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness of asset and maintenance history.
Assist with preparing annual maintenance budgets and tracking maintenance costs.
Purchase parts and materials where required.
Reconcile purchase orders and packing slips.
Administrative functions like answering calls labelling organizing manuals and other regulatory documents like safety and audit records.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education:
Associates or Bachelors degree or diploma in Operations Management Industrial Technology or a related technical field preferred.
Experience:
3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
Proven experience managing and using a CMMS (e.g. SAP PM Maximo Micromain eMaint MP2 etc..
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production processes.
Advanced Excel reporting skills.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and industrial systems and components.
Knowledge of maintenance practices including preventive predictive and corrective methods.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel Word and other Office tools; data analysis and reporting experience preferred.
Experience with spare parts management inventory management and vendor coordination.
Purchasing experience.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
