Nature Programs Internship (Paid Bilingual Spanish Preferred)

Do you like spending time outside and are you interested in working with kids Do you have lived experience working and/or living in Latinx communities Do you speak Spanish or are you learning Spanish The Nature Programs Internship might be the perfect summer job for you! This paid position for Spanishspeaking youth ages 1620 is a part of the Tualatin Hills Nature Centers Nature Experiences and Workforce Training (NEWT) Program.

The fine print: You must be sixteen years old to apply you must love working with kids and you must be able to work outside rain or shine.

Schedule:

Interns are asked to commit to 80200 hours over the summer between June 7 August 23 2025. Schedules are flexible and are typically scheduled Monday Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Essential Job Functions

Nature Program Interns are responsible for assisting with the planning and instruction of nature camp and nature program activities for summer participants. Activities include but are not limited to: leading group games activities singing songs arts and crafts and participating in nature hikes.

Pay Rate Range: $18.7119.84 per hour.

Pay rate range includes a 3 bilingual pay incentive available for staff who regularly use their bilingual or multilingual skills.
