Job Description

Your Impact :

  • Provide Technical Support to customers & partners by phone email and in person
  • Work directly with ETAC GSRT ISR PanAV DevOps and Software Engineering to get customer problems resolved
  • Have thorough understanding of the Software release and bug cycles
  • Able to isolate root cause for product defects and Reproduce customer issues in the lab
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an indepth evaluation of variable factors exercises judgment in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise regularly participate in technical discussions with crossfunctional teams
  • Publish technical support bulletins provide technical content reviews for Knowledge Base and contribute to customerfacing forums and other technical documentation.
  • Assume technical escalation responsibility for the following threatrelated issues:
  • Respond to Wildfire verdict and PanAV issues.
  • Internet Security Research Team issues (PANDB IP Block List Suspicious DNS)
  • Platform related bugs
  • Escalations driven by case age
  • Sales Escalations (HOT/AtRisk/Political in nature)
  • Breach or Incident responserelated escalations.
  • Able to conduct multivendor troubleshooting
  • Develop into Threat Subject Matter Expert
  • Has visibility across the entire organization; leadership is recognized across the organization.
  • Assist in developing and documenting threatspecific escalation processes.
  • Perform due diligence concerning Malware or Exploit analysis
  • Develop and deliver threatspecific training materials to the TAC organization.
  • Take part in the Follow the Sun oncall shift rotation on weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Monitor Threat Queue
  • Provide General Threat Consultation to other team members.
  • Threat Lab Support Development and Replication assistance
  • Technical Case Audits Identify educational opportunities
  • Active call assistance

Qualifications :

Your Experience

  • 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively convey complex technical issues to all stakeholders
  • Indepth understanding of networking concepts and security protocols (e.g. IPSEC SSLVPN NAT GRE)
  • Experience with multivendor networking devices and security platforms
  • Ability to independently debug complex and unique threat prevention issues
  • Experience with Incident Response models is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP CEH or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell) for automation and threat analysis
  • Handson experience with SIEM tools intrusion detection/prevention systems and endpoint security solutions
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 HIPAA) and their application in cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members
  • Experience with cloud security principles and technologies (AWS Azure or GCP)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent documentation skills for creating technical reports and presentations
