Job Description
The group you work in deals with operational and strategic topics aimed at increasing productivity in semiconductor manufacturing. In addition to strategic projects the group is responsible for strategic factory simulation and operational material flow optimization at the site. This includes responsibility for the following core topics:
- Factory control and material flow optimization (Dispatching/Scheduling)
- Factory simulation via discrete event simulation
- Line analysis and decision support in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Data mining for extraction transformation and validation of systemcritical data
- Planning and of strategic projects at Bosch locations worldwide
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the continuous development of factory control at the site
- Design and implementation of stateoftheart control methods
- Optimization of processes regarding workflow organization and costeffectiveness
- Analysis and evaluation of relevant factory key figures with interdisciplinary teams
- Indepth collaboration with adjacent groups e.g. capacity planning reporting etc.
Qualifications :
- Possess at least a Bachelors Degree (Masters/Diploma) in Computer Science Mathematics Physics or Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT within semiconductor manufacturing or similar industries
- Solid knowledge in the control/optimization of material flows
- Broad background knowledge and practical experience with control methods
- Excellent programming skills in a highlevel language (C# Java Python)
- Very good understanding of manufacturingoriented IT architectures
- Proven experience in working with large data sets is an advantage (databases)
- Experience in data mining and statistics as well as in the field of data science is desirable
- Good team player & good collaboration within an international environment
- High level of independence and flexibility
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Professional presentation and confident demeanor
