Job Description:
To provide neuropsychological services for patients and families of the University of Toledo Medical Center rehabilitation services including application of neuropsychological procedures of assessment diagnosis prevention and/or treatment of neuropsychological problems or emotional disorders related to disability and implementation of programming/educational components of the rehabilitation process to improve the patients and familys adaptation to disability. To provide consultative services to UTMC students and professional staff external to the Department of PM&R and to act as an educational and research resource for staff and students of UTMC. To provide supervision of other staff involved in the delivery of psychosocial services to inpatients and outpatients of UTMC rehabilitation services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Education/experience/licensing:
Must be registered and/or maintain current licensure from Ohio State Board of Psychology.
Maintains the Standards set by the American Psychological Association regarding treatment procedure and professional ethics.
American Heart Association CPR required and must be maintained throughout employment in position.
Passes annual safety test.
Achieves competencies for assigned work area as dictated by director (i.e. age specific suctioning aseptic technique).
