Job Description

The Associate Director Next Gen and Field Tools Excellence is a strategic leadership role which applies consulting and communication skills to partner with Sales and Marketing leadership in design and ongoing implementation. This role focuses collaborating with Sales and Marketing leadership to deliver impactful solutions that enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

The Associate Director is responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic direction on innovative solutions leveraging brand knowledge and deep connections with Sales and Marketing leaders to identify and capitalize on opportunities among key external stakeholders (including HCPs Accounts Patients Speaker Programs and Samples).  This position influences crossfunctional teams to create and onboard new analytic solutions and delivery platforms empowering field colleagues with Next Generation technology to operate more efficiently.

The position is a part of the Field Planning & Analytics Team which drives optimization of our sales force size and structure.  This position reports into the Lead Director IC Field Tools & Data Strategy and will lead a team of six Managers in order to support field analytical tools philosophy and processes across all franchises

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to commute to our Florham Park NJ office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities 

Leadership

  • Lead develop and mentor a team of six Managers providing opportunities for growth and leadership development
  • Epitomize selfsufficiency and serve as a role model for the broader FPAT organization on what good looks like regarding bringing expertise inhouse.
  • Demonstrate influence without authority by guiding coaching and training the TA Field Tools leads.
  • Coach Managers on technical ability communication with stakeholders process enhancements and working collaboratively with other business partners.
  • Manage vendor relationships on a daytoday basis. Ensure vendorassisted projects are managed within budget and timeline and appropriate methodologies are employed.
  • Lead large crossfunctional strategic enterprise initiatives to empower field colleagues with innovative NextGen technology solutions.

Field Analytical Tools Thought Leadership

  • Drive collaboration with Franchise Analytics Field Planning and Analytics Franchise Tools leaders and Field Tools Managers to ensure valueadded solutions for the field.
  • Effectively communicate the progress and achievements of key projects to internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Foster innovation by staying connected with industry trends and introducing cuttingedge analytic solutions to address business challenges.
  • Lead largescope projects by leveraging brand knowledge and forming strong partnerships with Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners to design and implement solutions that gain stakeholder acceptance.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives with adaptability to changing priorities ensuring effective prioritization of work.

Qualifications :

  • BA BS degree is required.
  • Minimum 8 years experience required. Problemsolving orientation; ability to work independently.
  • Experience working with leadership to solve problems and identify/sell/implement solutions.
  • Must exhibit proficiency commensurate with grade in the following competencies: strategic thinking problemsolving innovation collaborative partnerships across functions analytical capabilities leadership drive for results and communication for greater team effectiveness.
  • Knowledgeable of a variety of PC programs (including but not limited to Excel PowerPoint Power BI).
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and strong communication skills resulting in the ability to anticipate customer and business needs and address questions or issues.
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple yet compelling fashion.
  • Learns fast grasps the essence and can change the course quickly where indicated Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo; Embraces the ideas of others nurtures innovation and manages innovation to reality.
  • Ability to develop indepth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data and therapeutic area to resolve business problems more efficiently and effectively

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
