Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and servicedriven Assistant Restaurant Manager for a wellestablished luxury property group based in Hazyview. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highend hospitality exceptional guest service skills and the ability to support the daytoday operations of a busy restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
Ensure a smooth and efficient service in both front and back of house
Supervise and train wait staff to maintain service excellence
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback and complaints effectively
Maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation throughout the restaurant
Assist with inventory control and stock ordering for the restaurant
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service
Support the planning and of special events and private functions
Handle administrative tasks including staff scheduling and reporting
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 3 years experience in a similar supervisory or management role in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
Hospitality qualification or relevant certification preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively
Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Must be guestfocused with a proactive and serviceoriented approach
Willing to work shifts weekends and public holidays as required
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Hazyview (liveout position)
